Characterization

In these pages you will learn to characterize organic and polymer solar cells. When we talk about characterization we refer to the use of external techniques to probe into the internal structure and properties of a material. With this definition there is of course a large number of characterization techniques that are relevant in connection with organic solar cells.

In the first section you will learn how to measure solar cells, you will also find a section with specific characterization methods, including UV-vis, CV, LBIC, NMR, and many more. In the last section of the chapter you will learn about stability standards, i.e. the ISOS standards.
